Usually, NL teams are not well-built for interleague play and AL teams destroy them in AL parks. Even good NL teams struggle with mediocre AL teams with the DH.
Put Thames (or Aguilar) at DH with the mashing squad of lefties that we already have and this doesn't look good for the Angels with their 3 iffy RHPs they are putting out there. We'll probably get Gamel in the field once with Braun at DH as well.

Cubs at home against the Pirates
Cards at home against the Dodgers
Would be nice if we could take 2/3, maybe add a game on STL/CHC and then brace ourselves for the rest of the month. It is brutal.

That is why I love DVR. Watch a couple innings at night. Then wake up about a half hour early in the morning and watch the rest. You can burn through a baseball game pretty quick if you fast forward through the down time.

Normally I'd say it's stupid to intentionally walk a hitter unless it was a very specific circumstance. I'm not sure I wouldn't just walk Trout every time he came up.

Getting Trout to swing and miss has to feel so damn good as a pitcher.
The Yelich catch was

Down and in breaking pitches seem like a good place to throw to a left handed hitter.

Time to cut ties with Chase and admit lost the Segura trade.

That's because they're in the dirt.

I just don’t get how the guy goes from being our ace for most of 2017 and then just falls off a cliff. Mop up duty is about all he’s good for now.
So what’s the plan with Jimmy and when is he expected back? Is he gonna be rotation or bullpen. I’d hate to wait all this time to get him back and he’s like pre 2017 Jimmy Nelson.

This is who Anderson has always been. Getting his HR/FB% under 9% in 2017 was a giant fluke that wasn't going to be repeated.
