Yeah, his confidence has to be shaken right now. Not good timing with Peralta on the DL and Jimmy Nelson not appearing to be near ready at the moment.

I figured Peralta would be the wildcard with his one good game/one bad game starts, Burnes the best, and Woodruff decent... Was not expecting Burnes to surpass Chase Anderson in HRs.

Burnes needs to be sent down to figure it out. He has good stuff, maybe it's a mechanical thing. But it has to be in his head too at this point.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

They tried. It didn't work. He needs a 3rd pitch. Give Keuchel a 1-year deal and work Burnes back into the pen.

Glad to see the consensus is that Burnes needs to get this figured out in AAA. I don’t want to shake his confidence too much just starting for the first time in his career, sure, but the guy is just broken right now. It’s like a guaranteed loss. You can’t keep throwing him out there doing more harm to his confidence than good.
