At worst we’ll be 1.5 back of the Cubs after this very long stretch of tough teams.
There’s a 2 game stretch of Astros coming up, but otherwise we’ve got basically Pirates/Reds/Marlins/Giants for a month and a half. Need to build a lead after nicely hanging around with a tough schedule.

SVP just said that Hader is tied for the most six-out saves (or more) over the past twenty years. Obviously did not used to be a normal thing (and not that it's "normal" now), but interesting stat.

Some of my family from ND are big twins fans. Its hard to get a sense on how great they are. Having played 3 of the worst teams in baseball on my last count 14 times.

Yeah, their record is inflated due to a round robin of tanking teams in the AL, specifically the Central, but it does seem like they’ve had some guys develop and they’ve embraced analytics that have allowed these guys to flourish + find undervalued players in the margins.
Regardless, they should win that division and if they don’t, they play so many easy teams they should be in the WC hunt even with a relative collapse.

Third baseman Travis Shaw continued his minor-league rehab assignment with Class AAA San Antonio on Monday, going 0 for 3 with a walk as he played one game of a doubleheader. Through five games, Shaw is 2 for 19 (.105) with no homers or RBI, three walks and six strikeouts
Lace em’ up Shawsy ol’ Boy!

Shaw has forgotten how to baseball.
Seriously though, it's amazing how quickly players can go from mainstays in the middle of the order to borderline unplayable like Shaw and Aguilar have done. Hitting is **** hard.

The crowd at Target Field sounded like it was at least 50% Brewers fans.
