Yelich has quietly been in a bit of a slump lately that's been a little masked by his home run total. Would be nice to see him break out again in this series.

Every time I watch Burnes he gives up three runs.

I turned to the NBA Finals for like 5 minutes and Burnes blew up again!? Terrible.

Nice win. Need to have a several game lead by the ASB. The schedule is very favorable for a month plus.

Gerrit Cole, Tyler Glasnow, Austin Meadows and Shane Baz for Chris Archer, Joe Musgrove, Colin Moran, Michael Feliz and whoever the hell else they got for Cole is a damn near fireable offense.

When CC thinks he can't turn him around at the MLB level. Then he will go to the Minors.

Absolutely, that Archer trade is a dumb fan reaction trade suggestion made after sweeping a good team like the Brewers. The GM should be smarter than that but obviously is not. Makes the Brewers chances better in the future though with not having to deal with Glasnow/Meadows for the next five years.

CC said a decision on who gets sent down won't be made until Sunday but said Shaw is definitely activated Monday

One of Shaw/Aguilar/Thames needs to get moved, IMO, preferably for a solid arm. Problem is you're selling really low on all three of them.

Aguilar is probably the most logical option, as he's the least versatile of the three.

Not so sure about this. Sending Keston down is only one of a handful of options. Honestly wouldn't be shocked if they DFA'd Jesús.

It would make no sense to platoon Keston. He needs to play everyday. Moose is hitting great, he needs to play. Unless Shaw is happy being a backup? Yeah Jesus but if you get rid of him and activate Shaw then what? Shaw has played some first but Thames is also a lefty. Hernan can play everywhere so he stays for sure.

Probably not great when Chacin consistently can't find his command two months into the season.
