Houser versus Wainwright (7:15 PM)
Lyles versus Flaherty (6:15 PM)
Anderson versus Wacha (1:15 PM)
**** them up, Brew Crew.

Crazy to think a sweep, however unlikely that may be, would get this team within a game of the division lead.

It has about a 95% chance of happening. These Brewers are clutch.

Would've been cool to score more than 1 there.

Nice win. Tomorrow is the last game of the regular season vs a team playing for anything. Not that those teams are just going to lay down but they wont exactly over extend their guys and will probably be giving young guys a looks.

That’s kind of a weak take. Cubs and Cards have 7 games left. We need to win tomorrow to make sure those two keep duking it out while we enjoy our easy schedule. Nationals also play some good teams. This season is so far from done.
You give me Counsell in any sort of elimination game and I’ll take his management hands down.

It's worth saying - Lyles has been much better than I anticipated he would be when we traded for him.

He's given up over 2 earned runs once in 9 starts. 2.39 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. Dudes been really, really good.

I wasn't implying it wasn't important to win today's game just pointing out how the Brewers schedule broke favorably where the last 4 series of the year are against teams that are out of it. They will still need to play well but it's nice that they won't have opponents who are throwing the kitchen sink at them.

Suter throwing 88-89 mph is like anyone else reaching back for upper 90's.
