I can't believe we're in the playoffs as of today. What a gusty-ass team. Just keep winning.

Would be nice especially since the Cubs play the pirates again next week and they look like a team that's in full mutiny mode and might not win another game.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Cubs, who have really struggled to score this month in other games, put up like 600 runs in their last series with them. Definitely need a sweep.

Scrubs lost this afternoon, we can go 2 games up on them. Unfortunately the Nats have Miami this weekend.

Its interesting to me seeing Cain lean way back when hitting HRs. Unorthodox but works for him i guess.

He looks identical to Willy Mayes Hayes.

Pirates couldn't be trying any less in this one.

Yeah, Pirates have given up down the stretch. They gave up 47 runs over a three game series to the Pirates to start this losing streak last week.

As for the Brewers, this is what they looked like they had the potential to be when they started the season against a tough schedule. **** got tough when the schedule got weaker, for whatever reason. They're finally feasting on the minnows.

Still, a one-game wildcard - if we get there - has me nervous. I'm guessing we'd basically have a really short hook for a starter and be ready to run a bullpen game. Nats - if they make it - would likely roll with Scherzer. That's just a scary matchup for me.

I want to get that division.

Every other team with a realistic shot at a playoff spot in either league has a run differential of +100 or better.

The Brewers, after a blowout win tonight, are at -12. I hope we finish 8-0 with every win by 1 run and the Cards lose just enough with a few blowout wins to cede the division so that we can win this thing with a negative differential and everyone else is 100+.
