Ted Simmons makes HOF - a new plaque in the outfield?

As kid my favorite Brewer was Simmons. Loved the guy.

Finally made the HOF yesterday.

So does this mean he now gets a plaque in the stadium?

I sure hope not. There were plenty of players better than Simmons during their time in Milwaukee including a recent catcher like Lucroy. Fingers is borderline but he did win MVP and Cy Young with the Brewers so can understand that one more.

He was in his decline by the time he got to Milwaukee, but I'm glad he got the nod.

No, if you mean # retired. He may get the base around Miller Park (if he hasn't already).
