Looking forward to the matchup on Sunday of To Determined Be vs somebody named Hauser.

Woodruff is dealing. Worth a look, if anyone cares.

Woodruff and Burnes have been good this year. Nice to have two younger starting pitchers with promise. It's too bad we haven't seen more from the rest of the starting staff.

That was fun. I think? Winning a 1-0 walkoff against Cubs in front of zero fans was bizarre.

Our entire staff is fantastic. If only our hitters would step up, this team could be legit

It seems very possible that Yelich, Hiura, and even Braun start hitting and the brewers become slightly above average instead of slightly below. With a little luck, they may even win a few playoff games.

I have no illusions that this is a contender or even a good team but it's still sweet to beat the Cubs. And hell, with expanded playoffs who knows what could happen.

When you have good pitching, you always have a chance. Plus we are do some 'positive regression' hittingwise...not all these guys are mendoza line hitters.

Our offense still stinks. It just stinks slightly less than the Cubs.

Every time I watch Hader, he blows a save. Not criticizing him, but it's just amazing how I manage to watch all his bad games and none of the good ones. It's also very clear that hitters have no trouble with him whenever I watch. I almost think it's a conspiracy that he has such good numbers when I don't watch, like it's all made up or something.

I mean, he has 7 ER in his last 6 appearances over 4.1 IP. You can criticize him if you'd like.

Seemed to make sense to trade Hader at the deadline and move Williams to the closer role but I'm a casual when it comes to MLB arbitration/contract/team control stuff.

Just once I'd like to be on the winning side of one of these.

Terrible loss last night followed up with a no hitter. Confidence has to be low going into the home stretch.

Being no hit has been coming for awhile.
At least we're only one game out of the wc spot /md
