Regular season split 3-3, each team winning 2 of 3 on the road. Burnes vs Morton in the opener. No times set .

Counsell generally pushes the right buttons, but limping into the postseason like this has me worried. Seems like baseball, more than any other sport, is about getting hot at the right time. This team is currently at its coldest.

Glad the last week is over.
Let’s play some ball!

Haven't paid any attention to the games since the Williams injury stuff. Seems like that was the correct way to go. Ready for some playoff baseball!

One way or the other they were going to get like 5 full days off so the way I see it, it really didn't matter how hot or cold they were. It was going to be a reset for the playoffs no matter what.

You could be right but I'm just going to bring up whatever year that was, like 2006 or whatever (I'll look it up), where the Cards lost the majority of their final 20 games and won the division with 83 wins and then won the World Series. **** the Cardinals.

We already know the 4 home teams for Friday, Milwaukee, Tampa, SF and Houston. Same with Saturday and Sunday. Ridiculous not to have game times yet.

I think we kinda know and there have been some people posting their TV Guide's times.
TV slots for TBS on Friday are 3:30 and 8:30 CT. There will be one or two west coast teams in the NL in the other matchup. We'll play at 3:30.
I believe the 7 PM Saturday slot is also ours...I'm reciting this from what I've read from others so I may be off by a bit here or there but it seems like we know we're on TBS and know we'll get the earlier slot on those days.
Back to your point, not only do we know the 4 home teams - we know that a "blueblood" will be out of both wild cards. It's not even like we're waiting for Yankees vs. Mariners in the WC to see if the Yankees win so they can be in the best TV slot or Mariners dropping them to the lesser slot. It's Yankees or Red Sox and Cards or Dodgers. Those are arguably the 4 teams along with the Cubs that the TV stations would want to feature.

Brewers game 1 is at 3:37 on TBS, game two at 4:07 on TBS. Completely lame.

they won 3 of their last 5, so they didn't end that badly, though the had a long losing streak before that.

Estabrook is terrible but at least we didn't get Joe West or Angel Hernandez. Apparently MLB doesn't use a merit based system?

Braves will be tough. Giants/Dodgers even tougher. And the AL champ will be tough. But let's win this damn thing. Can't wait to be at AmFam Friday and Saturday . Looks like Saturday will be great tailgate weather.

Really pissed with mlb to have these games at these times. I watch them all year and then the most important games I can’t watch. Cool
