Re: Brewers/Jays Series
I wonder what it must be like for a guy like Bill Schroeder to watch Vladimir Guerrero Jr play when he retired six years before his dad debuted in the MLB and 9 years before Vlad Jr was even born.

Until this weekend I forgot I bought MLB audio this season. It didn't take more than 10 seconds to sync up the radio broadcast with the Ballys broadcast. Just paused the radio broadcast (which was about a pitch ahead) when I heard the ball hit the mitt and unpaused it when I saw the ball hit the mitt on Ballys. Instant radio feed over the video feed.

Hmm that’s an interesting idea. I’d pay to not have to listen to Levering.

Re: Brewers/Jays Series
Absolutely incredible they keep piecing together good starts despite the pitching injuries. When is Devin back? This could play out similar to 2018 when the bullpen was stacked and we had to piece together starters innings.
Rodriguez being a guy would certainly go a long way.
What is best case (realistic) playoff rotation looking like outside of Peralta and Rea? You could dual starter stuff where you ask for 2-3 innings out of two guys as a quasi starter from the group of Wilson, Hall, Ashby, Rodriguez, Junk, Ross, Myers. Ideally one or two of them step up as legitimate starters 1 or 2 of them provide an abundance of long relief depth.
Miso could be in the mix as well by then as a starter or Hader like swing man if the rest of the back end guys are healthy. Our back end of the bullpen could be insane if that's where he ends up this year. Devin, Megill, Miso, Peguero, Payamps. You could keep them all fresh and have 7-9 locked down with enough depth to go to one of them earlier than that when needed.
Just crazy the amount of depth this team has put together both offensively and pitching.
ETA I called Devin Williams "Jefress" twice in that post before editing
major 2018 vibes

I thought they might grow on me, but I just don't like these jerseys. I feel like they're the kind of jerseys I'd see in an independent league team like the Savannah Bananas or something.

Re: Brewers/Jays Series
I realize they probably weren't going to average 5 RPG all season, but it seems like they've had an awful lot of these duds lately. Especially considering that the lineup has been exceptionally healthy since Hoskins came back, despite Ortiz being out tonight.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Cubs lost on a walk off. Cards and Reds lost. Be nice to steal this one.
