Brewers/Reds Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Aug 29, 2024 8:48 pm

Tough series starting with a DH. Fortunately our pen pretty much got a day off Thursday.

Friday - 11:40 - Rea vs. Martinez
Friday - 5:40 - TBA vs. Lowder
Saturday - 6:15 - Montas vs. TBA - FOX
Sunday - 11:10 - Myers vs. TBA
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm gonna miss Willy. Hopefully he keeps this up through the end of the season/playoffs and goes out here on a high note.

Got to win this one after burning most of your pen.

Can't stand watching Frelick hit sometimes. There's just such limited upside to his offense. Like there you're just praying the inevitable ground ball or weak liner he's going to hit is in an okay spot. The chances he drives one in a gap somewhere are basically zero.

Yeah if they can get something for him this off-season they should. They need a power bat in the corner spot opposite of Churio. I'm cool with a Mitchell/Perkins pairing in CF.

Devin closing games in a truly an experience sometimes. Had to have that one though with all the relievers we burned so good job.

Seems like there is always Devin Drama, but good win nonetheless.

I'm guessing Chourio sits game 2 if his ankle bothers him at all. Contreras will DH. Bauers at first.

The key is tomorrow. If Chourio is out he'll likely sit a few games until it's 100%

Lowder's going to be a hassle going forward.
