Brewers/Orioles Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun May 18, 2025 9:18 pm

Orioles have lost 5 straight and fired their manager. This series is followed by 4 against Pittsburgh. Need to go 5-2 to get back to .500

Monday - 6:40 - Priester vs. Kremer
Tuesday - 6:40 - Henderson vs. Sugano
Wednesday - 12:10 - Patrick vs. Povich
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Really need to win this series and start a good stretch of baseball if want to possibly stay in the playoff mix.

Plenty of good ticket prices. I scored a couple seats like 10 rows behind the Crew dugout for $23/ticket on Seat Geek. Assume between mediocre weather and team play that building will be pretty empty this week.

Meanwhile Yelich with a weak grounder

It's okay. Mears still has a great ERA.

Cubs lost on a walk off. It would be nice not to lose this one.

A win where we didn't score first and blew a lead. Not bad at all.

It seems like Priester is improving with the Brewers each start. Was pitching really well last night until the double in the 7th

I thought he threw a good game overall. He isn’t a guy that blows you away, but lately feels he has been fairly effective and can see potential to be a good 4th/5th starter.

Nice win last night. Hopefully Contreras goes on a tear now. Chourio was battling last night, looks frustrated watching him behind the dugout. Yelich looks done and honestly watching him return to the dugout after ground outs it seems like that back is bugging him. He just does not seem right. His statcast page is pretty bleak.

Mears has had a couple tough outings. Can’t complain too much but wonder if he’s falling back to the norm a bit.

Need to win this series now.

Yelich to the IL any day now. Whether it's legit or not. He needs to sit for awhile.

At minimum he needs to sit vs Lefties

This year vs RHP he has a .769 OPS(112 OPS+), it's only .354 vs LHP(8 OPS+)
