8.C Dave Ross
9.P Eric Milton

First game of the year between the top two teams in the Central right now.
Took two of three at Wrigley, only scoring 7 runs, (one in the last two games). Lets hope the Brewers bats can get going against a Reds pitcher who was shaky in his first start against the Pirates. He started the season on the DL with a sore back, and wash pushed back to rest seven days so he wouldn't have to face the Cubs, a team with which he has a poor track record. Milton is 4-3 with a 3.93 ERA in 8 games against Milwaukee. Lets hope the Brewers can get some hits together today, and maybe Billy Hall can get back on track against a team he normally kills. I'd like a repeat of this from last year..

Nice Game thread, great job. Let's hope that you have the same streak of luck that I did. Eric "fly ball" Milton gives up a ton of fly balls and Cincy is a hitters ballpark so I think we will score enough runs to win. Capuano can't be bad like sheets was his last start. I say brewers win 8-4. Go brewers.

JR with a dropped fly ball. Never thought Id see that. Nonetheless the Crew up 1-0. Lets hope Cappy has some control today. Cant afford to put guys on base for free with the Reds

Not many 3B make that play. He was in the grass looking bunt and the ball got rocketed at him.

Rickie has such a hot bat right now. Anybody have big enough balls to predict 30 HR's for him this year?

yeah Hart's defense has looked AWESOME. I love the way he has been playing. Now if his bat get going that would be sweet. He has got some pop.

well Rickie Weeks i can see being on Allstar at the pace hes going. He just hit his 4th HR. This guy is as electric, i mean i think that he is going to be great and his defense has gotten a lot better too. I think the only reason he was struggling at the beginning was because of his Wrist, but now that is all healthy and he is good.

Weeks still has some room to improve defensively thats for sure

Grand Salami Billy Hall...

Hopefully that gets Hall going. We can't afford to have him hitting sub-.200 for much longer.
