Five pages. Many are good posts, some talk some smack. Which is always funny coming from Cubs fans.

I don't get where this person gets there stats from

To this point, the Brewers have outscored opponents by three runs (117-114), while the Cubs have outscored opponents by 21 (112-91). The Cubs are behind only the Mets, Red Sox and Blue Jays in that category. No, it hasn't shown up in the win-loss standings yet, but over the course of the season it likely will.

When i checked yahoo it said we have scored 129 runs and given up 102?

23-3 vs. St. Louis sure helps that important run differential stat.

Brewers are the most balanced team BY FAR in the division. People look at them and don't see an Ortiz, an Arod, or even a Derrek Lee, but they just have so few holes top to bottom.

Best rotation in the division easily. Check.

Lineup with only arguably one hole, 3B, that will be filled by the top 3B currently in the minors by mid June. Check.

Best 8th and 9th inning bullpen in the division. Check.

Obviously injuries could happen, but that can be said about any team. This team will be able to shorten games and avoid long losing streaks because of their pitching.

I'm not worried. All the Cubs fans talking smack before the season are.

Its too bad all that **** had to happen with Latin Cappy. He'd really help out our middle relief situation.

Our 1-8 lineup will be sick once Braun comes up, and with guys like Graffy, Cousell, and whichever OF's aren't playing that day on the bench, we are also extremely deep in position players. Damian is also a damn fine backup catcher.

Agreed 100%, and I was discussing this with a buddy today. Be nice if Capellan and Aquino could find their stuff, because they have much better stuff than Dessens and Spurling.

Aquino
Wise
Shouse
Capellan
Villanueva
Bow
CoCo

now that's a sick pen. You can even throw Gallardo in there late in the season if we really need innings.

Even if Capellan does find his stuff does anyone think that he will ever pitch for the Brewers again?

Yes. I don't think what he did is so bad that he will be unforgiven.

And you know Melvin doesn't trade unless he thinks he's getting fair value (or robbing someone blind)

As much as they want to teach Cappy "a lesson", if they think he'll help, he'll be up here.
