Best player on the brewers right now and probably will be for the whole season. He will make the all star team with jose reyes and rollins at shortstop. He won't start, that's a fact though. JJ Hardy for N.L MVP!

We should dump him to get Gerald Wallace

This is a good sign.....it's either a guy breaking out with steroids ala Brady Anderson or he's turning into the next Robin Yount.....if it's Yount, that's a big deal, because I don't think many people expected Hardy to be a 30-hr/100RBI guy. That would be huge for this franchise.....

The Skeletor like Hardy certainly is not on steroids.

Everyone thought the same about Alex Sanchez too.

Is this what baseball has come to, every time a guy who has a break out year or is having a bad year is going to be excused of taking steroids?

Good point. I just really can't see it.

I rode Hardy about not being able to hit to all fields. Boy was I wrong about this kid.

Maybe he heard you and that is why he is doing so well. You should feel like this.

You were right. He can't hit to opposite field at all, but luckily that doesn't seem to matter much at all. He looks like Brady Clark the year he batted .300, but with a ton more power.

I don't see much brady clark in him at all. I remember Clark always use to get those little dumpers in center field.

No Way. Brady's thing was a fastball in on the knuckles, he turned on it and ripped it into left. You couldn't throw a ball far enough inside for him not to hit it.

Probably not.....but with all the guys who have been using something, it's hard to ever rule something out 100%. That's the downside these guys have brought upon themselves.....

I'm almost nervous seeing JJ ripping the cover off the ball like this...I'm close to doing something crazy like buy his jersey
Can't expect him to play quite this well all year...I'd be unbelievably thrilled if he could end up in the ballpark of .300/.360/.520. Still, it's always a great sign when a young guy does this well, you know his confidence is sky-high. When he does go in a slump, he will be able to look back and know what he's capable of. Plus with Prince warming up he'll have plenty of protection in the lineup.

I'm right with you...I've been debating getting his jersey for about 2-3 weeks now. I think my wife is sick of me asking her if I should get it

Why don't you pretty boys go get a Podsednik jersey while your at it???
J/K. I would be very upset if they didn't put him in the allstar game. We right now should have a few Brewers in the game.

This seems like the appropriate thread to mention the sign I saw in the stands of Miller Park the other day when I was at one of the games. It caused me to chuckle quite a bit.
It read:
"J.J. makes me Hardy"
