vs
Promotions: Spring Madness ($24 and under tickets half price; $1 hot dogs and sodas).
TV: FSN Wisconsin
Radio: 620 WTMJ
Ben Sheets; 2-2 4.25 ERA
Tony Armas; 0-2 8.66 ERA
Pirates Probable Lineup:
Chris Duffy CF
Jack Wilson SS
Freddy Sanchez 2B
Jason Bay LF
Adam LaRoche 1B
Ryan Doumit C
Xavier Nady RF
Jose Bautista 3B
Tony Armas P
Brewers Probable Lineup:
Rickie Weeks 2B
Craig Counsell 3B
J.J. Hardy SS
Prince Fielder 1B
Johnny Estrada C
Geoff Jenkins LF
Gabe Gross RF
Tony Gwynn CF
Ben Sheets P
Captain Erv's Bold Prediction: Coming off a win against the Cardinals going 6 innings and giving up 2 runs, Ben Sheets looks to stay on the winning track. He should have a good chance against this Pirates team which continues to struggle to score runs. Armas is a so-so pitcher and if the Brewers can get on him early this should be another W and a 6-1 start to the homestand.

Man am i digging Hardy in the 3-spot, and Prince in the 4. I know Billy's not in the lineup, but it's still nice. Wonder where they would put him if he were playing today.

I don't mind hardy hitting third as long as he doesn't try to pull every thing.

Hardy has been a pull hitter much of his career, but this season he's been going the other way a lot (much to Bill Schroeder's liking).

Fricken counsell hitting second. They better do a lot of bunts there because if rickie gets on that's double play city. Well hopefully counsell can get it going because his .218 b.a is unacceptable. This armas guy looks like he has been struggling to say the least this year, hopefully we can get on him early. GO BREWERS!

He looked fighty and gamie doing it though. He battled the dirt when he slid as well.

stranded at third after a leadoff triple....not the way to use gwynn. sheets and weeks strike out, followed by a counsell flyout

I think Prince and Hardy might have a bet going on who can hit more Jacks. I bet Prince didn't think hardy would get this close.
