Records at Glance: Brewers: 22-10; Nationals: 9-23

TV: FSN Wisconsin
Radio: 620 WTMJ

Image
Dave Bush; 2-3 6.03 ERA

Image
Jason Simontacchi; 0-0 5.28 ERA

Nationals Probable Lineup:
2B Felipe Lopez
SS Christian Guzman
3B Ryan Zimmerman
LF Ryan Church
RF Austin Kearns
1B Dimitri Young
C Brian Schneider
CF Nook Logan
P Jason Simontacchi

Brewers Probable Lineup:
2B Rickie Weeks
SS JJ Hardy
1B Prince Fielder
CF Bill Hall
C Johnny Estrada
LF Geoff Jenkins
RF Kevin Mench
3B Craig Counsell
P Dave Bush

Captain Erv's Thoughts: The Brewers will look for Dave Bush to rebound off a tough loss last Thursday when he was in total control and lost the game in the 7th. Bush has been prone to giving up a big inning in most of his starts this season. Lets get this one tonight and get ready for the sweep tomorrow.

Here's hoping that Bush can get back on track against the Nat's, a team that is almost last in virtually every offensive category.

Here's hoping Ned doesn't leave Bush hanging out to dry again if he is pitching a great game and hits the wall.

I heard Ned say the other day the most important thing is getting through the seventh with a lead. Yet he leaves Bush out there. Hopefully in the same situation tonight he's out of there. More hopefully he pitches a no hitter

Need to stop a winning streak? Put Dave Bush on the mound, he'll come through for ya

Yeah Bush is really sucking. Lets hope he can make it 3-4 innings without giving up more than 3 runs and then I say we put it Villanueva and wait for the offense to come to life. We left some runs on the table yesterday. Hopefully we get those extra ones today.

Awful baserunning by the Nats gets us out of that inning.

Time to light this guy up. 5+ ERA in AAA, no excuses tonight.

I thought for a second Fielder was going to strike out on 3 straight breaking balls like he did yesterday. I just worry that teams will eventually figure out that you better not throw that cat a fastball when runners are on.
