Captain Erv's Thoughts: This is going to be a true test for this Milwaukee Brewer team. A modest person would hope to get one out of the three games and a believer in this team would like atleast two out of the three games. Suppan was a Met killer in the playoffs last year so lets hope that trend continues. Sosa was surprisingly impressive in his first start for the Mets, but I don't think he is anything special. Lets start making believers out of some people!

EDIT: My apologizes for not having any pictures in the game thread. My computer at work is slow as hell and it's a chore to try an add anything special. I will try to get home before the game and change it up.

This is the series that can finally shut the people up that say we haven't played anyone. The pitching matchups in all three games favor us so I'm looking for 2 out of 3.

That's true. I'd be shocked if you guys don't at least take 2/3 since we're also not playing well.

Big series for us. Hope all goes well. But it drives me nuts how ppl will come and say how bad New York is playing. That is just an excuse to us so if they lose its ok, but if they win they can be like told you so. You do suck.

Suck it up. If you lose its because on that given day we were better than you.

Ok is it just me or didn't it look like Weeks had his left hand on the base before the tag?

Good thing we got out of that inning with Reyes on the bases. Now we need to settle in a start scoring some runs.

Huh? Didn't we just take 3 out of 4 in Arizona, then 2 out of 3 in SF?!?!?!?

Jenkins is really making a case for his everyday spot again.

Why? He still can't hit lefties. He's in there ever single game against righties, which means he's going to get plenty of AB's.

Mench isn't hitting anything right now. He's been slumping since the start of the homestand. Why not let Jenkins give it a run every day?

That Easley home run looks huge now.
