WEFFPIM's Tidbits
-Ah, my 10,000th post in a matter of a year and a half. I just feel like pointing that out to you people that while I may seem hip and fly online, I am truly a nerd of epic proportions.
-To the game now. The Brewers avoided a sweep by hitting Geoff Jenkins with a taser to jump start the offense. Look for the Brewers to take advantage of this by hitting some "unexpected turbulence" and releasing the oxygen masks, just to make sure their hearts are in the right places.
-The Dodgers have been great since the opening series to start the season against Milwaukee, yet find themselves in a 3-game slump. ESPN is blaming Grady Little, for leaving Pedro in too long.
-Dodgers Stadium just screams baseball, aside from all the gunfire and gang violence.
-My sister says hello. She thinks I am sad. I think she is anorexic. She likes the Brewers because of Brady Clark. She is now aware that he is a Dodger, and goes back to trying to find that damn White Sox bandwagon from 2005.
-In order to fit in the schedule of Los Angelans, the game will start with a special "O inning" to get warmed up and to get the crowd into their seats by game time, will end after 6 innings, and instead of stats and replays on the videoboard, as special screening of "Ocean's Thirteen" will be playing.

Tough road trip, let's pull our heads out of our asses!!!

Good Luck, Jeff...and GO BREWERS.

During the Chi Sox World Series run I was living with a guy from Illinois who jumped on the bandwagon who was so annoying. I tried for an hour to explain to him that he can't be a Sox fan because he's A) from a northern suburb of Chicago, B) from a wealthy family, C) a Cubs fan. That's how bad of a bandwagon baseball fan he was. He didn't know Cub and Sox fans hate each other.

Congrats on 10k.

My sister jumped on it hardcore and she fully admitted it. I bought her a White Sox pennant for Christmas and said "If you're jumping on the bandwagon, you're staying a Sox fan." She is no longer a fan of any team, but if she had to choose, she would choose the Brewers because that is who my dad and I are fans of.

You'd be surprised how fast 10,000 comes. When I first cam here, I did almost every game thread on the Bucks board. Now I've scaled back on those, but then they created a Brewers and Bears board. I also post on the NHL and Media Lounge board.

Game threads are the post-whore's crack. The fact that I've stayed out of them all these years and still have the number I do is all the more impressive 8) ;)

Congrats on the 10,000. I see you average 18 posts a day which is pretty crazy but it is nothing compared to some dude I saw on the Cubs and Bulls board who posted about 50 times per day. Now that is ridiculous. So is your sister hot anyway? :D

Congrats on the 10000 post. This is an important game for us. I like the pitching matchups that we have this series. Suppan vs Tomko is a huge advantage in our favor Then we face Wolf and Penny. I like our chances to get 2 out of 3 here. Weeks coming back is a huge plus for this team

tonights official lineup is:

Rickie Weeks
Tony Gwynn Jr.
JJ Hardy
Prince Fielder
Johnny Estrada
Geoff Jenkins
Bill Hall
Craig Counsell

That is an interesting lineup and i think it could really work. With prince in the cleanup spot we have a consistant hitter there and if people can get on base im very confident that he can drive them in.

Awesome lineup. Now if we could only get Braun in that lineup instead of Counsell.

Yeah great lineup. Weeks started it off with a hit, finally he gets one. Hardy just missed that homer, let's get going here.
