Tonight he makes his 8th Start of the year. He is 6-1 with a 2.14 ERA with 77 Strikeouts. This guy is just shutting people down. With Claudio and Bush really really struggling and Sheets flirting with the DL again, When do we see him come up?? Im hoping that he makes Ben Sheet's start this week and pitches so well that he has to be thrown into the rotation.

Also does anyone know where i can find some video of him??

Both Bush and Vargas would have to be completely unproductive. Villanueva would move into the starting rotation before Gallardo.

I would think Villanueva stays in the bullpen. I'll guess Gallardo gets called up in mid June.

Nashville is up 4-2 in the seventh. He has 8 K's. And a double.

On days he doesn't pitch he can be a pinch hitter. Better than Graffy and Shrek.

Q: Scott of Waukesha - If a starter goes on the DL, who do you think will take his spot in the rotation?

A: Jim Powell - Gallardo. Villanueva would be the other option but he seems to be settling into a valuable role in the bullpen.

Right-handed starter Yovani Gallardo -- who dazzled fans in Brevard County a season ago -- is shining for Nashville and is "very close" to making the big-league club, according to Melvin.
