Man this sucks our ace is a hockey player now.

Brewers Lineup:

1. Rickie "Will probably hurt himself and be out for a few" Weeks
2. J.J. "Making me not so Hardy"
3. Ryan "More brains than" Braun
4. Prince "Hey guys I'm still a good" Fielder
5. Johnny "Take a damn pitch for once and I still look like Erik" Estrada
6. Geoff "It's sad that I'm the 3rd best hitter on the team" Jenkins
7. Bill "What the" Hall
8. Gabe "Why the hell is my name Gabe? That's" Gross
9. Ben "I'm a better hitter than Graffanino" Sheets

Just a guess but honestly does the lineup even matter right now? It's not like we're going to score.

Braves Lineup:

I don't know what was their lineup today? Let's just go with that.

Mr. Cox I hope you're showing the ump how you got a hole-in-one on hole 14 of "The Oaks Mini Golf Course" in Gainesville, Georgia.

Do you think their lips touched at any point of this yelling match?

Note: I went with the Helena Brewers logo because they're playing like a minor league team right now.

I don't remember which way the umps rotate but Froemming was at first base yesterday, if he's behind the plate we're in for a lot of bad calls. He's horrible.

i always liked him....his brother was my math teacher for a few years. also, bill carollo's (nfl ref) sister was my librarian at school. anyways, as for the ump, he sucked it up yesterday, but i always thought he was fair.

The Brewers currently lack a true leadoff hitter and 3 hitter.

One of the young guys could develop, but not now.

How long will it take for Yost to realize that Gwynn needs to start EVERYDAY, if he isnt playing at all, how is he supposed to develop into a leadoff hitter?

at least sheets is making his start tonight... i would say its a much better chance for a win with him starting and not bush. although it wont make much difference anyways if we cant score any runs

edit - im new to posting but i've been reading on here for a while and tried making an account but it wouldnt let me due to me only having free emails but its all good now

Well Gwynn hasn't exactly been doing great himself. Under .280 his last around 60 at bats and he has absolutely no power. Welcome to the board by the way. You too koski.

Here is the Brewer's Lineups Tonight:

Rickie Weeks
JJ Hardy
Ryan Braun
Prince Fielder
Johnny Estrada
Geoff Jenkins
Bill Hall
Corey Hart

I still would like to see Braun back in the 2 hole. he did so well those first 2 games in there.

Also im glad to see Corey Hart getting some more playing time. I was a huge Gwynn supporter early on but i think its wrong to keep Corey from his spot. Corey is still going to have a great year and start to heat up.

i would expect braun to not be pressing as hard tonight. you could really tell that he was just trying to hard yesterday and even admitted to it in the journal sentinal this morning. as for hart, i think that yost is just trying anything to score some runs by shaking things up and putting in hart who earn this start by hitting the ball hard a cupple times and outrunning some infield singles for base hits yesterday

I'm not quite decided on braun, but if they're gonna keep rickie leadoff, and fielder at cleanup, thats the order i want braun and jj. plus with hall stuggling and having to go down, who else is there to be at the top of the order. its like braun is 3rd by default.

Sheets better be able to get through this game. If he gets another damn blister it could end up being on of these things that lingers for a month. :nonono:

as far as hardy number 2 and braun number 3, hardy has stated in the past that he perfers number 2

http://www.brewerfan.net/ViewArticle.do?articleId=137

Do you have a preference towards which spot in the lineup you'd like to be in?

"I see myself as being a #2 hitter. It really doesn't matter as long as I'm playing in the big leagues, I'll be happy. But, I would like to be a #2 hitter."

this was a cupple years ago but even with hardy second behind fielder in home runs hes much more of a line drive type double guy whose better suited for number 2 while braun has much more evident power and is better suited at number 3 for the long run
