Gallardo has to come up soon.......Im not hoping that this happens( ) but our pitching staff has been relatively healthy, and an injury or two will come up soon, maybe by mid-june. He has been absolutely dominating
8-1 2.14 ERA and 95 k's in 67 innings.....thats unbelievable..........SEND BUSH TO THE BULLPEN

YoGo got roughed up tonight.
4.1IP, 6H, 7ER, 6BB.
Opposing pitcher
Ben Hendrickson
6.2IP, ER, 4K

Looks like we kept the wrong prospect

we will never know who is better until yo pitches at the major league level. i have no doubt that ben hendrickson is a great triple A pitcher. unfortunately for hendrickson, there is no such thing as AAAA ball.

Joe I was obviously being sarcastic here. Gallardo is pretty much as good as it gets. Hes rated as one of the best if not the best pitcher in Minor league baseball. Still has an ERA under 3 this year and one of the best WHIP ever(this start will hurt with the 6BB).

Hendrickson will never be anything more than a good AAA pitcher

Maybe he's just trying to limit his innings so he can help the big club later. 8)

Melvin was on the radio a couple hours ago. He was asked about him. First he said there are no plans to bring him up but that maybe if there is an injury in the rotation he could be called up.

Then he talked about how it could be a good thing for him to pitch in relief up here and that the Brewers have talked about that. Melvin mentioned several successful starters who started out in relief their first season.

I wouldn't be shocked if Spurling "sprains his ankle" in the next couple weeks. 8)

Nah we'll just DFA him like the Dodgers did with Clark.

From espn.com:

"Brewers RHP reliever Elmer Dessens, on the DL since May 24, felt discomfort in his strained shoulder and cut short his simulated game Saturday afternoon."

Convenient... guess we won't have to worry about that for a little while. Gotta love the shoulder "discomfort"...

Damn I wonder who's been giving Elmer lying lessons.

"I felt something," he said. "It wasn't normal, so I stopped."
