Dukes available...

Turnbow + Mench for Dukes??? The guy has unbelievable power if we could keep him off the wanted list...The D-Rays are looking for bullpen help--would they consider a Capellan + Mench deal?

Move Bush to the pen (8th inning guy), call up Gallardo (or move Villanueva to the #4)....

Why trade T-Bow?

Dukes:

Since 1998, he has been arrested 6 times on charges including possession of marijuana, assault, and resisting an officer. On May 23, 2007 it was reported that his wife filed a restraining order after he threatened to kill her.

Sweet.

yeah, more I think about it, the less I'd include t-bow. But I certainly would trade one malcontent (Capellan) for another, even thoudh Capellan's problems are nowhere near the level of Dukes'.

I do think this team needs an upgrade at corner OF, and we have a few tradeable assets (Gwynn, Capellan, Bush/Vargas, Jenkins, Graff) that seem to be stockpiled at the same positions. None of them alone are enough to get an upgrade, but I certainly think combining a few to get a player like Dukes or Wily Mo Pena would be worth the gamble.

For Mench and Capellan, sure. Trade one guy who wants to be here and another who doesn't really have a role here. It's a hit or miss, but even if we miss, it's not a huge risk. Certainly not for Turnbow though.

Considering his arrest record and character issues I don't think the Brewers do it. Dukes will end up with a team like NY. The Brewers seem to have good karma going on, I don't think they upset it with Dukes.
