If so, our lineup might just start to hit it's stride. . . .
Hart
Hardy
Braun
Fielder
Hall
Weeks
Jenkins
Estrada
Something like that looks pretty good right now.

It would seem like a dream to not have Counsell or Graffy in the lineup but for some reason, I expect that during his first game back he sits Hardy to keep one of those two in the lineup.

I wouldn't mind that lineup with Weeks hitting 7th.

I thought the first day he could come back was Sunday, I could be wrong.

Hopefully Weeks can turn his season around at the plate.

He can come off the DL now and wants to, Melvin said yesterday it would probably be Sunday or Monday and Yost has said he would be back in the leadoff spot. That's a big mistake IMO.

There is no reason why he should be in the leadoff spot becuase:
A) He has sucked in the leadoff spot this year
B) He doesn't want to be a leadoff hitter
C) Hart has been very good in the role

My question is who are they going to send down? The obvious choice would be Capellan, but that leaves them only 11 pitchers on the staff. As of now the only players I see that are tradeable are Graffy and Mench. Otherwise, they can cut Gross. He is about as effective as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

With Ned as manager we won't see him until July...Ned would just say he doesn't want to rush things so he can start Graffy and Counsel.

Yeah that's exactly what Ned is thinking.

Then it will be:
Weeks
Hardy
Braun
Prince
Hart
Jenks or Hall
Hall or Jenks
Estrada

i think that hall has broken out of his season starting slump at the plate so i think he'll regain the spot in the order behind prince like yost intended when the season began. i think he also wants to use hart further down the lineup because he has more power than weeks so therefore doesnt want him batting leadoff
weeks
hardy
braun
fielder
hall
hart
jenkins/mench
estrada
pitcher

If Hall and Weeks start hitting and Gallardo does a good job, we could go on a nice run here. It's an exciting time right now, but at the same time there is a big sh*t cloud of doubt because of what has been happening.

You gotta keep Hart at the leadoff. He is just hitting too well. He's getting runs and RBIs. Leave what is working, and sub Weeks into the late order until he gets his stroke back. I'm thinking #6.
Hart
Hardy
Braun
Fielder
Hall
Weeks
Estrada
Jenkins

I agree 100%. With Hall starting to hit our #5 spot is set, keep Hart leadoff.

From JS:
But Yost still intends to put Weeks back in the top spot, which leaves him to find a productive place for Hart.
"Rickie finds ways to get on and score runs," Yost said. "Corey scores runs and drives in runs."
I bet Hart hits 5th.

So it probably goes something like
Weeks
Hardy
Braun
Fielder
Hart
Hall
Jenkins/Mench
Estrada

Hart's OBP is higher, Weeks strikes out a lot more. Why screw with something that's working? Especially when Weeks is coming off an injury.
