Scouting Report
Giants: Tim Lincecum has struggled in his last three starts in which he's combined to allow 16 earned runs in 14 2/3 innings pitched for a 10.41 ERA. The rookie is coming off his first Major League loss and his shortest start of the season against the Blue Jays. Lincecum allowed seven runs, five in the fourth inning, over 3 2/3 innings and said he lost his composure on the mound. This is the first time Lincecum has had to deal with a stretch of bad outings, but he was confident he can turn it around.
Brewers: Sheets struck out seven Tigers in his last start, joining Teddy Higuera as the only Brewers pitchers to top 1,000 career strikeouts. But he surrendered three runs in 5 1/3 innings in his shortest start since a three-inning stint against the Cubs on April 25, snapping Sheets' scoreless-innings streak at 22 2/3 innings and his consecutive "quality starts" streak at eight. He has a 2.84 ERA in five career starts against the Giants
Giants Probable Lineup:
CF Dave Roberts
RF Nate Schierholtz
1B Ryan Klesko
LF Barry Bonds
2B Ray Durham
C Bengie Molina
3B Pedro Feliz
SS Omar Vizquel
P Tim Lincecum
Brewers Probable Lineup:
RF Corey Hart
SS JJ Hardy
3B Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
CF Bill Hall
C Johnny Estrada
LF Geoff Jenkins
2B Rickie Weeks
P Ben Sheets
Captain Erv's Thoughts: Coming off a close victory, the Brewers will look to take the second game of a three game series against the Giants. We have our "ace" of the past month and a half on the mound against the struggling youngster, Tim Lincecum. Hopefully Sheets will continue his dominance on the Giants anemic offense. Lets get this one so I can keep doing game threads!

I just may go again. I had a blast at Monday nights game, even with the sauna like conditions and leaky roof.

Yep I'm going as well. Gallardo night was awesome even with the sauna like conditions as you said.
Plus I'm a big fan of pitchers duels and if both pitchers pitch like they can then it should be a damn good pitchers duel.
Hopefully Sheets outduels Lincecum though.

For the love of all things good in this world I hope they have the side panels open. It feels like I lost 10 pounds sweating in there. Last night's game was incredibly though, so I might be down for Sheet's game tonight. We shall see.

The roof will be open tonight. Plus it's cooled off and less humidity. Perfect night to be at MP.

I like this lineup. This young pitcher we are facing is going to have a tough task. Sheets has been damn near the top of his game for over a month now, this should be a win.

Agreed. This is by far our best lineup yet this year. Counsennino off the bench, just the way it should be.

Well, spoke too soon. Counsell is starting tonight because Hardy is sitting out with a minor hip injury.

Lincecum looks like Turnbow circa august 2006.

He got hit in the balls by a jenkins throw. Braun and Rickie were loving it.

6-0 Brewers. Just absolutely hammering Lincecum. Prince's double was one of the hardest hit balls I've ever seen.

When you're looking fastball, and you get the fastball, and you have as good of power as Prince, that's going to happen. I'm just surprised it didn't go out of the park.
