Scouting Report

Royals: The final line doesn't show it, but Perez's six innings of three-run ball against the Cardinals in his last start was a tremendous performance. Facing his career nemesis, Perez tossed his best game in nearly a month, coaxing several huge double plays and striking out Albert Pujols in a clutch situation. He continued to shine on the road, posting a 4.97 ERA, far better than his 7.30 road mark. Perez is 3-0 with a 2.97 ERA in five starts against the Brewers.

Brewers: Gallardo earned a starting ovation as he walked off the field following his Major League debut, when the 21-year-old pitched into the seventh inning and delivered an RBI double against the Giants in his first career at-bat. Gallardo was charged with three runs on just four hits in 6 1/3 innings, striking out four and throwing first-pitch strikes to 19 of the 26 hitters that he faced. Gallardo was 8-3 with a 2.90 ERA in 13 starts for Triple-A Nashville, and he led all of Minor League Baseball with 110 strikeouts.

Yay I'm going to my first Gallardo game tomorrow.

I'm expecting Weeks and Estrada to get the day off with Graffanino and Miller getting starts.

I think that if Gallardo can paint the outside corner with his fastball like he did in his first game, that he will give up no more than 1 run. The Giants are a savvy hitting team, and were able to put great pitches into play. The Royal are not a savvy hitting team. They are just as young and inexperienced as Gallardo, and Gallardo has the stuff to put them away.

Perez has done nothing to make me believe that he will shut down the red hot bats of the Brewers. I expect a whooping today.

Well Kansas City had a "clubhouse meeting" after the game last night. I expect them to come out smokin'.

We can't take any team lightly.

Houston comes to down tomorrow and although they have sucked they still have some talent. At least we don't face Oswalt.

Yup, he pitches Wednesday. Let's hope Chicago doesn't have a rainout against Colorado.

It's amazing that Mench only has 2 homers this year.

Rule #1: NEVER mention a no-no while it's in progress, unless it's being thrown by the opposing team.

Rule #2: Unless you want to turn into MBBOT, cut down on the emoticons LOL.

Come on let's get a run, from the way it's going, it's all we need to win. Unless our bullpen screws up.
