Is anyone getting worried about Suppan yet. I mean the guy has just been gawd awful in his last 8-10 starts. He has had 5 starts in June with a 8.36era and also had a really bad may besides his may 5th start against the pirates where he only went 5.2 and gave up 2er.

I know that they say he is a great post-season pitcher but the way he has been pitching I find it hard to believe and I know he did great last year for the Carinals last season but I think maybe he just got Big-Contract-itus.

He has been horrible but his last start wasn't too bad. Lots of ground balls that found holes in the infield. He wasn't getting hammered like he was in past 4-5 starts.

He's never been a good first half pitcher and like I said in another thread, getting 8 wins from him int he first half is pretty good. I think he'll be fine.
