(46-33, 1st NL Central)
@

(39-39, 2nd NL Central)
Broadcast live on national television on FOX at 2:55 PM
@
Ben Sheets, 9-3, 3.09
vs
Sean Marshall, 4-2, 2.44
Another lefty, so we should be seeing Mench in there again today, as well as the same lineup as yesterday, minus the pitcher obviously. Yesterday was, as they say, heartbreaking. Cubs are gonna be hungry to keep it going to get the sweep, and we need to stop them here. Thats why I'm glad to see Sheets there, hopefully he keeps it up.

this would be a nice time for sheets to turn it up a notch and be the ace.

How do you Figure he needs to step up don't you think he has been proving himself as the ace.
June stats
5 Starts, 4-0, 33.2IP 6er, 1.60era, 29ks, .238 opponents BA.
Doesn't that qualify him as a solid ace.

Yup anything less than a no hitter means Sheets is not the ace.
Good intros by Billy Hall. Kevin "Big Head" Mench. Rickie "Junk in the trunk" Weeks.

Johnny "I don't speak Spanish" Estrada.

Geez, it's deja vu. Let's hope it's not our only inning to score.
