The kid has been unreal. It looks like we have two MVP caliber hitters in Braun and Fielder in the middle of our order for the next several seasons.

Gordon is hitting .237. Right now it isn't even close.

Wait until Braun starts facing pitchers he's faced before.

Gordon wasn't even good against pitchers he faced the first time around.

Why didn't the writer mention Ryan Zimmerman?

There were 3 collegiate 3rd basemen taken in the top 5, not two.

I was wondering that same thing. Zimmerman is better than Gordon right now.

But no one is even close to the production that Braun has been giving. I mean he is batting .349 and Slugging .643. The thing that really excites me is that his D is pretty darn good.

Ryan Braun = God sent

I'm completely fine with his D. Yea, he'll make some bonehead throws every once in a while, but he'll also make an amazing play here and there as well.

I don't know who it was against but I think it was a week or so ago...very soft grounder up the third base line and Braun had a do or die play and threw a strike to get him out. Amazing play.

I heard a lot about Brauns lousy defense but so far, so good. A friend of mine is friends with Robin Yount. Robin told him (before Braun got called up), that it was a mental thing with Braun, he just couldn't make good throws. I guess being in the Majors has had an impact.
