Alright boys, last one here. Yesterday's win means no matter what we're up at least 6.5 games after this, and then two more series till the break. We've got a chance to make a little more room though and really put a lot of pressure on the cubs. Someone's gotta be due for a day off, my guess is gonna be Hart, he's been in a while. That'll give us Jenks and (ugh) Gross today. I don't think Rickie's ready to lead off yet, but who knows what Ned'll do if Corey sits. Here's hoping for another good start from Bush to win our 6th straight series. As I wrote that "Groovin, on a Sunday Afternoon" came on, must be a sign the Crew will be groovin.

Bush is pitching, he's pitched well this month (4-1, 3.51 ERA).

Hart has the longest hitting streak in the majors (16), he needs to play. Give him a day off in Pittsburgh.

The way the team hit yesterday I wouldn't change anything, other than Jenks for Mench.

The Cubs play some easy teams after us (Washington, Pittsburgh, Houston, San Fran) so a win today would be nice.

Nope, you play this one to win without much thought to rest. I'd consider Graffanino for Weeks becuase he's better in the field and has been hitting better. Other than that , keep it as is.

This game means 2 games in the standings. You worry about resting guys any other series than this one. This is the most important series of the season so far.

Yeah bring in the same line-up just no Mench today. After today we got 4 in pittsburg and 3 in washington. We could very well be 20 games over .500 at the All-Star break.

Just keep playing on at bat at a time.

Yeah but they got a 4 game series against Washington (we got a 4 gamer with Pittsburgh, better team) and while we play a pretty good team in the Rockies the Cubs got the horrible Astros. Then we have a 4 gamer with the Diamondbacks while the Cubs only have 3.

So the schedule obviously favors the Cubs, who should do well this month, but then again this is the Cubs we're talking about.

Good luck to both teams. I think Marquis will be more solid and consistant than either Marshall or Hill. Maybe a lot a runs scored once again by both teams.

That is such an awful avatar. Please for the love of God get rid of that hideous creation. Who else really wants to punch Joakim Noah in the face? I can't be the only one.

Oh yeah, should be a good rubber match today. If you get to Bush before we get to Marquis it could turn ugly.
