How good could we really be?

Think about it...

If Weeks was hitting and Suppan and Cappy were pitching like it was 2006 we could be runaway trains in not only the NL Central, but the entire National League.

Imagine if Gallardo and Parra are stellar up here in their time in the Majors. I cannot wait to see Parra pitch.

I think we need to go out and get one more piece to the puzzle. Someone to put us over the top. Any suggestions as to who that might be?

I personally think we could be a 100 win team but that only allows us to lose 22 games over our last 70. I guess that's plausible. 48-22 is obtainable if we hit our stride.

I don't know about you guys but I'm very very excited about October. Not only do I turn 21 but I could be watching Brewers PLAYOFF baseball at the same time.

Too many if's.

But this is definitely a great team and with another year or 2 of experience I see the Brewers being the best team in the NL and top 5 in baseball.

We need a starter to step up or we need to trade for a #2 type guy. Its been a pretty big drop off from Sheets to the other 4 regulars.

Starting pitching becomes extremely important in the playoffs since rotations are so shortened. It would be sweet if we can limit Gallardo's innings enough to have him as a starter in the playoffs.

We have studs on our team and if they reach their potential, which it looks like they will, we are going to be amazing.

If you guys wouldn't have traded Pods for Lee you would probably have never had Ryan Braun.

Griffey, Dunn, or Torii Hunter batting 5th behind Prince would be sweet. I think that would make us unstoppable. While Sheeter is out, Suppan, Capuano, Bush, Vargas, Gallardo, with Parra and Villanueva as long relievers and Bow and Coco 8 & 9, should be able to weather the storm. I just think another big league slugger would take the offense to the next level.
