I know you filled in for someone yesterday and now it should be your "regular" turn but after a loss someone new is suppose to do the game thread.

DO you want me to delete it. I just figured since it it 4 hours from game time and no thread up I would do it. It can delete this one if it is a problem.

Maybe this will change the karma of the team and lead to a long winning streak.

Not if Bud Selig keeps making us play half of our games on the road.
Pssst: Besides designated hitter Mike Piazza, left, of the Oakland A's, the Twins have tried to acquire outfielders Kevin Mench of the Milwaukee Brewers and Jermaine Dye of the Chicago White Sox. But neither is available. Instead of Dye, Chicago offered outfielder Darin Erstad, who is from Jamestown, N.D., but the Twins were not interested.

If this is true what do you think we could get for him anyone that could start?

Mench isn't going to bring much.

So should I be making a new game thread?
I have one ready if needed.

Ayt is going to cry when he finds out this game isn't on TV.

Too late for a new game thread, this one is already going, it's less than 2 hours until game time.

All right. Can't believe I forgot it was my turn. I'll be more aware next time.
Game notes
Francis (12-5, 4.01), meanwhile, is 7-0 with a 4.30 ERA in his last 10 starts, with the Rockies averaging 7.57 runs of support and going 9-1 in those contests.
The left-hander is 11-1 with a 3.35 ERA over his last 16 starts since May 12.
He's been like the opposite of Cappy.

We're going to win today so there will be no need for a new guy to start the thread.

Hawpe is in the lineup again, he should be good for a couple of laughs.

Well, sopcast doesn't appear to be working. I hate missing Gallardo's starts.
