The Next 9 (or so)

forget wednesday (unless it's seared into your retinas). the next 9 games we have are against houston, st. louis, and cincinnati, who combined are 37 games under .500 as of right now. the cubs next 11 are against these blistering-hot rockies, cincinnati, and st. louis, a combined 20 below. neither team is playing very well recently, but i think this next stretch might be the most important of the season (of course, aren't they all now?).
on paper, we should come out of this stretch better than the cubs. in reality, who knows. but if the brewers and the cubs both do what they're supposed to do, they will probably effectively knock the cards out of the race, and slam the door just as shut on the astros, making it a two-team race the rest of the way. we have to find a way to beat the teams that are worse than us, at home or on the road. i have an idea that something is going to go down after today's game in that clubhouse.
what can we hope for and what can we expect through these next 9?
