Any update on his hand? Kinda surprised the journal has had very little on him for a while now (at least I haven't seen any)...I'd heard there were some doubts about his effectiveness for the rest of the season, but htat mas more medical speculation than anything coming from the Sheets or Brewers' camp....

we need him for the stretch run, badly. Would love to have him by the Chicago series in a couple weeks....

You are? I mean this is the Journal we're talking about.

I'm still hearing early September.

Ugh. We might be out of it by then.

First they need to get Sheets back, and his progress has been very slow. The team has talked about early September as a target, but it seems to me that to hit that date Sheets would need to get on a mound in a hurry.

Thanks McCalvy. Can't count on the JS for anything.

Ben is a client of ours, still looks like Labor Day but there is an outside shot it could be the week before. His finger feels pretty good and he's throwing but not pitching.

It's frustrating how Sheets gets all these uncommon injuries/ailments,but his arm and shoulder stay healthy.

What happened to his finger is not that uncommon. Joel Zumya is on the DL with the same injury. But it is probally a good thing his shoulder and arm stay healthy. i would much rather he hurt his finger or something else than his shoulder/arm
