No time for a fancy game thread and I don't know who's turn it is but it's almost 3:00 so I'm starting it.
I'll add more when time permits.

I am interested to see how Yovani bounces back after that atrocious outing in CO. I am not a betting man, but if I were I would be willing to bet Yovani comes out dealing. We desperately need a win here if we loose 2 or more to the cards then we are in a whole heap of trouble.

You said yesterday in the game thread that you would have this one up this afternoon.

It will be his turn again next week after our 6 game winning streak is snapped.

Yeah I know, I'm scrambling to register for classes at a school I was just admitted to last week, and classes start Monday.
Gah.

Wow... Ned Yost strikes again. Pathetic. So wait, is Prince appealing the suspension?

Yes, according to JSOnline's NewsWatch
The suspension was bad enough, but if it gets reduced, I'll feel much better.

how come when counsell plays he hits 8th but when weeks plays he hits first? i guess i shouldn't really say weeks 'hits'. i mean i know weeks is faster, but he gets on base less and we never steal anyway.

Dear Ned Yost,
Just because you call up Gabe Gross doesn't mean he has to be played. Hell, with that theory, Joe Dillon should be starting every other game (with the way he's hitting, he might as well be).
Good Lord, I'm gonna go purge myself.

The Brewers just announced a lineup change for tonight's game.
It seems Gabe Gross' flight didn't come in on time and as of 6:00 Gross is not at the park just yet.
Gross was penciled in as the starting rightfielder and leadoff hitter, but Corey Hart is now in Gross' place.
that's better.

Was anybody watching the news on channel 4? They had an interview with Ned being all pissed off yelling something like " I have confidence in Cappy and he deserves another chance. Just one more chance what does that hurt?" Then a reporter asks him if he knew the Brewers lost 15 straight Capuano starts and he said "I know he's lost 15 straight starts. What do you think I am stupid?"
*Trying so hard to not make a joke at the last sentence.*

How many more chances does Capuano need? For god sakes, it's obvious he is not right. Send him to the DL or the minors for a couple weeks. I'm sure he'll be better then.

Christ,
With all this '82 stuff I can feel a 1 year anniversary of the team that led the NL central for 4 months then blew it next year.
