Yeah, yeah I know. Anyway, I'll be in San Antonio until Wednesday night, but I'll try and get to it sometime when I'm down there. Otherwise MD can edit if he wants to/has time.

I really think we need to look at that Jeff Cirillo kid. He impressed me in that short relief stint last week. I know he's still a bit green behind the ears, but Mike Maddux has worked wonders with promising young pitchers like Jeff in the past.

Will Gross start over hart since its a righty?

Got to get Gross in the lineup somehow. Maybe move Hart to 1st base for tomorrow and let Gross start in RF.

True Hart was a IF before. Maybe that would work.

I doubt Nedley would start Gross over Hart because of the pitching matchup. If Gross does start, it would probably be because of his recent hot streak.

I know Hart was originally a first baseman, and while I would prefer him at first over Joe Dillon (despite Dillon's impressive performance), he is an outfielder and an outfielder only. The Crew would only use him at first in an emergency.

I don't think a day at 1st base would kill Hart and that he suddenly forgot how to play 1st base or that if he did play 1st base he would suddenly forget how to play in the outfield.

We will score early and lose.

Either that or we'll give up runs early and play catch-up the entire game. One of the two always happens.

Do you know who our other firstbaseman is? Damien Miller. A day at first wouldn't hurt Hart at all.

Yost uses pitching matchups all the time. Every manager does. Have you been watching the Brewers at all this year?

Most recent example is Counsell playing over Weeks against Webb.

Exactly. When someone says Ned won't set a lineup because of pitching matchups it's insane.
