OT-How Fast can you throw

So I saw the dunking question on the Bucks board and thought it might be fun to find out how fast we can all throw a baseball. I haven't done it my self in awhile but a few years ago at state fair I did manage to throw it 65 mph.
Who knows, maybe we have some Bullpen help for the Brewers right here on this forum.

The last time I pitched, about 3 years ago, I was throwing in the mid 80s. The highest I ever got up to was 87 mph.
I'd love to get back into it next summer. I'm gonna try and find a wood bat league around here in central Wisconsin.

Before I torn my shoulder. I could top out about 75-78
Now I don't think I could reach 60

I throw somewhere between 68-75 but i was pitching with a friend who actually, belive it or not, hit 90 a good amount of times both of us are still in college BREWERS should call him

Throwing 90 is great. But throwing and pitching are two completely different things.

I can reach the mid 70's on a good fastball. My command on pitches suck though.

Yup.
I had pretty good velocity for the levels I pitched at. But looking back I'd sacrifice velocity for movement on my pitches and a better command of the corners

MadCity, I don't mean to be an ass, but your left sig is a little too big.
I really don't throw that hard. Not exactly sure how hard, but if I knew, I still wouldn't tell anyone because it's embarassing.

I can throw in the high 70s and low 80s.
By my childhood home, Warrenville, IL, we have the Kane County Cougars, an Oakland Athletics minor league team; the one Josh Becket was on. They had this pitch meter where if you threw the highest MPH you could get 4 tickets for the next game, behind home plate.
We'd pay for tickets and we could go to a game for a week, or until they told us not to come back, which happened a few times.
The fun fact about my story is I couldn't throw the fastest in my group of friends. I had a buddy who could throw low 90s, never played baseball, ended up as an
Indy Colt. Helluvan athlete.

highest I got at the state fair thing was 77 mph, last year. That's probably faster than I ever threw in high school, as my arm has gotten much stronger over the past 2 years.
And I still don't quite know how some people have problems with too little movement. My fastball did nothing but cut. I don't think I could ever throw a straight 4-seamer. I really wish I could've, though, as that might've done wonders for my control. So many full counts that could've been saved if I could've merely located a 4-seamer that I knew wouldn't move off the plate.

Low 80's touching the mid 80's. Watch out for my curveball and changeup though.

Just a shade above 12. I'll kick anyone's ass on the lane, however.

I'm thinking he shot a real gun.
Or I saw his "not really" at the bottom of his comment

I used to be able to throw 65-70 but I tore something in my arm, never got it checked out, and would be lucky to hit 50 on one pitch. I probally wouldnt last more than 10 pitches without having complete pain

Oh yeah, now I see. Sneaky sneaky. Even going with the lighter color along with the small size.
