Yes, I realize that this article makes one curious as to why Yost wasn't going "full out" prior to the final 23 games of this season (could it be that nobody told Yost that games played in July are counted equally on a team's record as games played in September?), but that minor detail -or glaring question, depending on your point of view- aside, I am SINCERELY HAPPY that Yost finally realizes that something has been askew with regard to the compatibility of his normal managerial style and the Brewers' main goal of being a winning, playoff bound team (as opposed to the Brewers former #1 priority over the last few seasons, which was to develop talent).
