Good sense, innocence, cripplin' and kind.
Dead kings, many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.

Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.

Incense and peppermints, meaningless nouns.
Turn on, tune in, turn your eyes around.
Look at yourself, look at yourself,
Yeah, yeah.
Look at yourself, look at yourself,
Yeah, yeah,
Yeah, yeah.

Tune-a by the cockeyed world in two.
Throw your pride to one side, It's the least you can do.
Beatniks and politics, nothing is new.
A yardstick for lunatics, one point of view.

Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.

Good sense, innocence, crippled and kind.
Dead kings and many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.

Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.

Incense, peppermints, incense, peppermints.

You need to hear that song but trust me it's awesome to listen to when you're smoking weed. 8)

Bob Melvin, Bud Black, and Clint Hurdle all deserve it more at this point

I feel like we could plug in almost any manager in the league on this team and we would have a better record.

Tony LaRussa deserves it more. He's been missing his ace for almost the whole year and is still only a few games behiond the Brewers.

Go position by position this year.

Bolded player wins

Fielder vs Pujols
Weeks vs Kennedy
Hardy vs Eckstein
Braun vs Rolen
Jenkins/Mench vs Duncan
Hall vs Edmonds
Hart vs who?
Estrada vs Molina

Brewers rotation vs Cards rotation

Brewers bullpen vs Cards bullpen

Yet they're only what 4 games back?

Yost a favorite for "mis-manager of the year."

It'll continue the nice little trend of managers not returning after they receive the award :)

Remember when the manager of the year from last year was fired? I'd love to see that again if Yost somehow wins it.

In general i think many fans overrate the importance of baseball managers, but in a very close playoff race like we are in,the importance increases. To often Ned manages on his gut vs common sense and it doesn't put the team in the best chance to win some games, which is his main job.I don't think he's a terrible manager, but i'd replace him after this season and cross any candidate off the list that used the word battle in his interview.
