As I post this Corey Hart is standing on the other side of my desk. I didn't know he was coming in today, I'll take that as a good omen. Brewers win big.

Mr. Hart will either go 0-4 or 4-4 today. Either way we blame or praise MD for whatever happens.

They had that Dumatrait guy originally as the starter but they took him out for this guy.

That is actually a good thing for us in my opinion. After what we did to him last time and judging from past Brewers experience I could have seen his stat line as follows:

7 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 1 ER, 10 K.

No matter what though, this is as must-win of a game as we've had this season with Sheets on the mound against a guy that isn't a regular MLB starter.

I'd rather have your 7-9 record than brewcityboii's 1-5 record. No offense to brewcityboii of course.

none taken. I'm like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays of Game Threads. But I I feel a big Streak coming on here for my game thread record.

I will be willing to take any bets that says I will have my record above .500 after The 20th of September. Name the Bet and I will comply!

Man oh man this has been a crazy last 4 days. I mean i go in for a regular check up find out there is a huge infection and deep sore in my back and next thing i know i am admitted into the hostipal with a friggin vaccum thing hooked up to my back. helping the infection get out and healing it. but damn, my orto doctor took one look at my back basically started to freak out because I gues it could have ruined the fusions.

But everything looks to be good now. (hopefully) it stays this way. so go get me a win brewers because i think i had a bad enough week to see you loose:(

2B Rickie Weeks
RF Gabe Gross
3B Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
CF Corey Hart
LF Geoff Jenkins
C Johnny Estrada
SS J.J. Hardy
RHP Ben Sheets

Well at least Ned is putting a good lineup out.

WOw unreal that the probable line-up actually turned into the real line-up. Did someone kind-nap Ned yost?

Most of the time except for the 2 spot seems to change on a regular.

Ryan Braun is batting .333 with five homers and eight RBIs in 10 games against the Reds.

The Brewers also faced Shearn last Sunday when we blew them out. Shearn gave up three runs and four hits - including a homer to Braun in 2 innings.

I'm feeling good about this game. Especially at home. Go Brewers!

That is why this is the perfect situation for this guy to go 8 IP with like 5 hits and 1 run or something. This is the Brewers we are talking about.
