Had no idea Kirk Saarloos was pitching for the Reds. Shows exactly how much I pay attention to offseason movement in the MLB nowadays. I must have zoned out when he faced the Brewers in 4 different games this year. Bizarre.
Campbell's Chunky FTL.

I'll be a guest in Ben Sheets suite tonight (he and Suppan each have a suite as part of their contracts). With the Scrubs winning game one the best we can do is pick up half a game today. We HAVE to win this game.

Wow that's pretty cool. I have sat in the suites at the United Center and US Cellular Field before and they are pretty sweet but I think the one at Miller Park would be the nicest.

I've never been in a suite at MP and I would think Ben's is a nice one. I'll post a report on it later tonight.

Since adding Ryan Braun, off to one of the best rookie starts in major league history with the bat, Ned Yost has clocked the Brewers in at 46-53.
Well done sir!!!
Very excited to be in a pennant race, and for me personally, a head to head bet with the Phillies (4 games back now) where if I lose I have to be homeless, where the Reds and Pirates might sink us, and where two games over .500 with the young talent we have still somehow apparently might give Ned "manager of the year."
Have fun in the Box, MD, hope the Brewers don't ruin an incredible evening...

I am very pleased the way Suppan has pitched the last month.
if it continues, I think we have to be reasonably satisfied with his year.
Reasonably.

there is no lack of talent on this team, i guess doug has to decide if he thinks that ned just couldn't handle them, or the guys just weren't ready for the big time

Good win. Suppan was good, Cordero was lights out. Sheets suite is nice, third base side, about even with the bag. Fun night at MP.
