Bush will be on a VERY short leash.

Meanwhile the Scrubs have Lilly pitching on 3 days rest.

I'm taking a guess that Capuano is plan B.

Lilly always seems to come up with big wins for the Scrubs; The Reds should just let Harang keep pitching.

I would actually start warming up Cappy after the first pitch is thrown. Even though I think we will put up some runs against a guy I've never heard of, I just don't want to fall to far behind before that point.

i'd say the guys are focused on trying to score runs early, so hopefully we can score some in the first to give bush a lead

our offense has been killer the last week no reason why it should stop tonight.

I'm seeing a lot of unnecessary optimism in this thread and I don't like it!

Counsell in for Hardy
By Tom Haudricourt
Wednesday, Sep 19 2007, 03:26 PM

Houston - The only change in the Brewers lineup -- other than the pitcher, of course -- for the game tonight against Houston is Craig Counsell in at shortstop for J.J. Hardy.

Counsell took over for Hardy in the late innings Tuesday night but we weren't told anything was wrong with Hardy, so we'll check on his status when the clubhouse opens and get back to you.

I have no faith in Bush at all but we will see what happens.

bush has been up and down all year. he can go for 8 ip and 2 er and then the next start suck then suck agian then have a great game.

i have no idea what to expect but if he struggles i think he should loose his spot in the roation. hell put vargas in there. vargas has a great winning precentage when he is on the mound. i dont care whats the reason the team just plays better when he is up their. so with all the bullpen depth and cappys recent success if he struggles at all early he will be out.

There's the Brewers I remember. Rookie pitcher completely owning them.
