% Chances of us coming back?

We face Smoltz, Hudson, Maddux, Peavy, Young most likely before this season ends and have to play from 1 back. Cubs play Pirates, NL worst Marlins, and a most likely Griffey-less Reds squad. Cubs have a few days off in there also. Where do you think we stand?

EDIT: Sorry, the Cubs don't play at PNC.

Well the good news is that we are tied in the loss column. You can make up wins, but not losses obviously. Also, the Cubs play the Pirates at home and not at PNC.

I'll say 50% chance we win.

Tomorrow is huge with the Cubs idle. Brewers lose tomorrow, they're essentially done. If they win then of course it's not over.

I didn't vote because I honestly don't know. It's still a coin flip in my mind

Jeff Bennett is pitching for the Braves tomorrow. Yes, THAT Jeff Bennett.

Cue: Jaque Jones and the Chicago media crying.

We are tied in the loss column, that's all that matters right now.

And yes the Scrubs are crying, trying to have a ready made excuse with their $100+ million payroll and a manager with a salary more than our entire infield. 8)

Well if you would've asked me at like 3 this afternoon then I would've been in the 26-50% category with a possibility of going to 51-75% but after watching the game tonight I realized that Ned still hasn't learned from his mistakes and will probably cost us at least one more game before the season is over.

its simple we win as many as the cubs, we have a playoff game to see who is in the playoffs. i see no reason why this team can't. besides tonights loss this team has been great. the pitching has been great. it just needs to continue like it has been and we will be in the playoffs.

The playoff game would be in Chicago.
Jason Marquis would be on the mound for the Cubs. Not sure who you guys would put out there.

If the rotation stayed in the order it is now (don't see why it wouldn't since we don't have any off days but this is Ned we're talking about so anything can happen) Carlos Villanueva would pitch in the playoff.

I don't think a game and a half back with 10 to play's essentially done, nut I know what you mean, I voted 26% because of that AAAA Cubs schedule.

If we can make it to the homestand within a game or 2, anything could happen with people around here going wild. so I guess 26% feels about right for taking 3 of 4 in Atlanta, too.

We're saving Sheets for the playoff game.

Brilliant move by Ned, manager of the year.
