Records at Glance:
Brewers: 15-11, 3rd NL Central; Scrubs: 16-10, T-1st NL Central

TV: FSN-HD, ESPN
Radio: 620 WTMJ

Weather Report: Mostly cloudy, 58 degrees, wind: from the SE at 12 MPH, 20% chance of precipitation.

Image
Jeff "Gazpacho" Suppan, RHP (1-0, 3.48)

Image
Ryan Dumpster, RHP (3-0, 2.90)

Scouting Report

Brewers: Suppan does not have much to show for some solid outings this season. He's allowed two or fewer runs in four of his five starts including Thursday, when he limited the Phillies to one run over seven innings and exited a 1-1 tie that turned into a Brewers loss. Dating to last season, Suppan is 5-1 with a 3.69 ERA in his last 11 starts. His lone win this season came at the Scrubs' expense, an 8-2 Brewers win at Wrigley Field on April 2 in which Suppan allowed two runs (on a pair of solo homers) on six hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Scrubs: Dumpster matched his longest outing of the season in his last start against the Nationals. He gave up three runs -- two earned -- on four hits over seven innings but a couple walks hurt him. The right-hander also struck out five. He had some trouble in the first when he had two outs, then walked Ryan Zimmerman on four pitches and served up a homer to Nick Johnson. It was a 26-pitch first inning, and Dumpster can't afford to start like that.

Injury Report

Brewers
Chris Crapuano -- 15-day DL (sprained ligament, left elbow)

[color=blue]
Scrubs
Alfonso Soriano -- 15-day DL (right calf strain)
Scott Eyre -- 15-day DL (left elbow inflammation - out 3-4 weeks)

Come on Brewers! I have no confidence in them hitting Dempster after he completely owned us earlier.

I've put my name into my Brewers hat here at home. With any luck, I'll be starting in right by Friday.

After reading the back story behind the girl getting the baseball, I find it hard to believe Dempster would say flash me to her in front of everyone else. Anyways, he is going to get rocked tonight by the Cameron train!!!

I would like to point out, that the day that I remove my braun sig, the brewers get 17 hits. Lets see what happens tonight. I told you guys in the last game thread I suspected it was bad luck.

Is this blacked out on ESPN?
Because my FSN HD comes in choppy and terrible and ESPN comes in crystal clear.

I would imagine it's blacked out.

Last night was the only game I thought the Brewers would win in this series, personally, so a win in the next two would be gravy for me.

Yeah a win tonight means a series win so that would be sweet. Yo/Z tomorrow could be a good one. I have a bad feeling that 17 hits last night equals 4 hits tonight.

Be thankful you guys don't have Charter.

Charter's attempt at getting FSNHD in like they promised for Brewers season is right on schedule to come in probably in September or October. I would drop Charter immediately if I lived in an apartment or house that allowed me to go to satellite. They have hands down the worst service and product possible.

What is this batting practice? Maybe Soup should just put the ball on a tee for them.
