Why didn't we sign Sosa for our DH?

He is only costing the Rangers $500K plus incentives. Seeing that Morneau and Hunter have 17 of our 23 homers makes me wish Sammy was batting DH for us. Plus he draws in fans as he gets further up the homer list.

Why do we always go for guys who don't seem to pan out?

probably because he hit around .230 and looked hopeless as a oriole 2 years ago.

Because Terry Ryan has bud luck with JOURNEYMAN and he cannot afford to land another laim duck that we guarantee their contract and then cut them after they hit in to too many inning ending double plays, or have eras that are out of this world
