Twins sign first-round pick OF Revere (Article)

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - The Minnesota Twins on Tuesday signed outfielder Ben Revere, their first-round pick in last week's draft.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed for Revere, who was assigned to the Twins' affiliate in the rookie-level Gulf Coast League.

Selected out of Lexington Catholic High School in Kentucky, Revere hit .487 for his career with 28 home runs, 176 RBI and 91 stolen bases. He struck out just 19 times in 433 at-bats.

yea is this kid a long term project or what?!?! they didnt have all that much on him on espn

Anyone drafted out of high school is a long term project but kg2005 is right, this is basically Denard Span part deux.

Only he's short, I think he's like 5'7-5'9.
