Twins offered Hunter extension

They offered 3 years for 45 mil...Torri is lookin for 5 years at 70 mil...he is looking for less money per year than the twins offers, but 2 years more...He'd be 37 in 5 years...I think the twins have the right idea...3 years is a bit much for a player who's game revolves around athleticism...should we up the offer or not?

I think Hunter is gone no matter what the Twins offer. At first he was all about negotiating during the season and now he's not. I think he's fed up with Terry Ryan and totally sick off old man Pohlad and his cheap ways.
Someone at the Star Tribune said it best: The fans stepped up for Carl to get him a staduim and now Carl's not stepping up for them by putting a cheap team on the field.
