I don't know if I like that. Young's OBP is way too low, I'm not as excited about him as I am Garza. Still, we need some hitting...

I don't like this...Bartlett is not a throw in type of a player...I don't care about Rincon, but Bartlett stings....

This is an awful lot of a guy who we don't know how stable he is...I mean throwing his bat at the ump was prolly one of the dumbest things ive seen any athlete do ever!...

I would like it if it was straight up Garza for Young...Keep our SS out of this...

Enjoy Delmon and his cannon. Best arm in baseball... just don't waste it by playing him out of position.

What exactly is out of position? He would likely be our LF.

Yeah, but his arm would fit better in RF. That's okay, as long as you don't play him in CF.

Great trade for you guys, this guy is an up and coming stud. Don't worry about the obp, he'll learn some patience and discipline. He never walks now but he will, heck he is 22 years old. This guy is a legit 3 hole hitter. Mauer, Young, Morneau in your 2-4 spots is deadly.

Harris is a better hitter than Bartlett at short, sounds like he doesn't play much defense though.

Bartlett is a role player, Twins need sluggers, perfect trade

talking strictly SS, Harris actually committed an error every 7.7 games and Bartlett committed one every 6.3 games...

Barty was not that good of a fielding SS...He is very athletic tho and I hope he never reaches his potential for the twins sake...I wonder where Harris will play, he is supposedly able to play all infield positions...Could he be our 2nd with Castilla as our SS or the other way around...Could he be at 3rd?

Bartlett has better range and a better arm, he's a better defensive player than Harris. As far as reaching his potential, Bartlett is 28. He's probably already reached it.

I was dissappointed at first to hear we included Bartlett but I'm happy about this trade now.

Young has some serious power potential and like someone else already said, he would fit perfectly in between Mauer and Morneau.

Apparently the Twins are really high on Pridie. We selected him in a Rule V draft but were forced to give him back.

I'm not all that high on Garza. He has only one pitch right now and shows reluctance to use his off-speed stuff. I think when he fills out he would be a solid top end starter but our organization is good at drafting/finding and developing pitchers so our focus in trades should be for bats.

It sucks that we had to give up Morlan, there was just no reason for us to change from Rincon to a top relief prospect so quickly. Whatever, we needed hitting. I'll wait and see who wins this one before judging too harshly.

Harris is being majorly underrated in this deal and I think Twins fans will be pleasently suprised with what he will give you at the plate.

We're not worried about what he'll give us at the plate, we're worried about defense. He's a better hitter than Bartlett, but probably 20 runs worse than him defensively. It takes a lot of hitting to make that up.

What do you know about Morlan? I'm in the dark on him.

Barty has a decent bat but he is just not an MLB short. I'm excited about the deal. Young is a legit five tool talent - those are rare even in an age of hype. Mauer-Young-Morneau should become a powerful 3-4-5, L-R-L combo.
