Can we make the playoffs?

Anyone out there think we can come back and make the playoffs? We were within 3.5 games of Detroit but now we're back down to 6.5 back. If we can keep playing like we have been and Detroit doesn't I think we could do it. We have 7 games against Detroit left this season so we could also make up ground there. Can the M & M boys will this team to the playoffs? I think it's going to take good consistent pitching but it could still be done. GO TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(p.s.): Someone please post.....I'm lonely :cry:

Ya, I know what you mean. Lately it's been better but for the first 3/4 of the season we've been a team that gives up a lead late, and a team that rarely makes a comeback. Inconsistency is killing this team. It seems like when our guy pitches well nobody can hit jack, and when we start heating up with the bats our pitchers can't do crap. Let's hope we can make a late push for the playoffs..once you're in anything can happen.

doubtful now. we need liriano to not suck next year and have the other people play the way they have been.

EPIC. As a person who grew up in on 1st Ave South in the Diamond Lake area (25-30 yrs ago) this is absolutely awesome.

I am so glad the Hump gets another series. Congrats and I hope some of you Minny boys can get there for a game in the playoffs - there WILL be TWO!!!!! Minimum!!!!

That was probably one of the best baseball games I've ever seen. There was just so much stuff going on and so many crucial plays that were made I'm just in awe right now. Now that we're in, in the word's of our beloved Kevin Garnett, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!"
