Finally its nice to see a competive team roll out there donning the New York Jersey, watching the Jets and Knicks over the past few months has lead me to drinking a bit more, question why Im a fan but there is always something that brings you back in.

Quote me on this, Michel Abreu ... the cuban defector will make an impact. He's 34 years old(says he's 29), he's righthanded, has power, and plays 1B.

2 years ago he hit .330 in AA and he was a great ballplayer in Cuba, the game vs. Michigan he hit a 2 run homer to tie the game. IMO he should get the last roster spot and spell Delgado on some games since Delgado is a year older.

This is though if Abreu has a good spring which I think he will.

I like his nickname "the hitting machine", but I doubt he makes the opening team roster for a couple reasons.

1 - I think Gotay has locked it up. He hit almost 300 last year.

2 - Gotay can play more than 1 position, and Willie likes versitility.

but it would be nice to have a power hitting 1B waiting in the wings if Gado has another slow year.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?
